Plans for a September tryout in Detroit are in the works.

So is a deal to play home games at Ford Field. A 10-game regular season will run from mid-April through June, and ticket prices will start as low as $10, Katz said.....

Finally!!! A PROFESSIONAL Football team for Detroit. As long as the "old man" dosent own the team, or have anything to do with it, i would pay to see those games!!! Guess i have to go to ford field some day since i live about 10 minutes up I-75. Crap, on good days i can even hear the crowds booing!!! Funny, you never hear them cheering!!!

Im really all for it.. Hope it happens. Would be even better if they played at the Silverdome, then the "old man" wouldnt get any part of it!!!
Wow- I can just see the Headlines if the Detroit Bears win the Championship. "REAL TEAM WINS IT ALL IN FORDS OWN STADIUM" or "PRO FOOTBALL ARRIVES IN DETROIT" or MR. FORD, THATS WHAT A CHAMPIONSHIP LOOKS LIKE"
Come to think of it, I'd be suprised if he let them use the stadium cause he would be so heavly criticized that it would be an embarresment

It's gotta be better than arena ball. Someone apparently needed a tax write off cuz this will lose money for a year or two and then fold. Word of advice, put the names of players on the back of the jersey--not "He Hate Me," or "Deez Nuts," or whatever else.
