Isn't anyone else excited about football season? Heck, last night with "On Demand" I watched a replay of Detroit and Dallas from last year!
In any case, I know what I will be doing Saturday night...
Unless of course my girl friend wants to do something better! :D

I am extremely happy football is starting/has started, but realize that the Lions (my favorite pro team) are still going to be mediocre at best.

..... whenever we are alone on Sundays. We like to do both at the same time! We were actually thinking about writing a "self-help" book for guys who want to get their women interested in the NFL! My girl friend says that she had never enjoyed football.... until she met me. ;)

Ahh..football season!
The mornings begin to cool off, the smell in the air starts to change to that wonderful sweet scent of leaves ready to drop.
My son's first "live" scrimage is today. He's starting on the JV squad as a freshman (he's become a beast!) at linebacker and fullback. Fullback is a bit of a misnomer in the system his coach runs, the backs are numbered not named in the dreaded "wing T".
A comment about getting your g/f interested in football: Take her to a game! It seems Amber doesn't know what is actually going on, but she is coming along, and is really impressed by the athleticism and dedication it takes to play.
College games in 2 weeks and the Lions tonight!
WOOT!

!

Down here we have a foul smell in the air. It seems that every other Sunday we have a smell, a stench really, that comes from downtown Detroit in the area of I-75 and Woodward. It used to come from Pontiac by I-75 and M-59. But for the past few years its been from Detroit. Thank God it only lasts about 4 months during fall/winter.
