I have a 1995 Yar-craft tiller. There's a bad section of decking about 2ft x 6ft running right down the middle that's about to go. It looks like a fairly easy repair (famous last words?) Anyway, instead of going with carpeting, I was thinking of using a truck bed liner material (Rhino-Lining, or Herculiner,) instead. Has anyone used this stuff on plywood? Will it adhear ok?

If there is any moisture in the wood, it is probly not going to adhere very well. It may in the beginning, but will probly peel off after a year or so. I would first seal the wood with multiple coats of sikkens varnish. Then buy the cheapest kit you can in the stroe and try it.

I have not used any of the bedliner products personally but, I can tell you that the Line-X product is a Polyurethane and is advertised to bond to Fiberglass.

If you decide to do this make sure you stay away from Black or Dark Colors or your feet will roast from contact with the sun.

Rather than using a varnish you will want to coat the cut ends of the new floor with an Epoxy to minimize or prolong rot. Contact Line-X and find out what their recommendation regarding this application are.
