Just a heads up, people on here are going to want you to fill out your profile. Then they will want to know what training that you have already done, what books you have read, videos watched, has your dog been on live birds etc... They also will probably request a picture too!

You can always hang around the trial grounds at Highland on the weekends and meet plenty of people, ask questions, ect.

:yeahthat:
Add to that, whats the background pedigree on your pup (backyard pet breeder, show lines, field lines, etc) and what training he's had so far??
There are several folks on here with many years of experience raising and training Britts for the field. Ask some specific questions, and I'm sure you'll get some good advice here.

Join Southeast Michigan chapter of NAVHDA and start in earnest next spring. Good group all kinds of dogs and experience. Everyone is gearing up to hunt now. NAVHDA.org then link to the SEMI NAVHDA Chapter.

Tequila's Joker on one side and AjaxVII on the other ... you don't need a trainer, you need a bigger freezer, that dog was born to hunt! :D
