went on the boat cruise last night and then I spent the day hiking the trails and checking out waterfalls. Awesome scenery!! I'm headed to Tahquamenon tomorrow. I hope to do some fishing there.

A little bit of everything under the falls on the Tahqamenon. Bring some jigs/crawlers for walleyes in the hole directly under the falls and some Rapala's/spinners for Bass, pike and the occasional muskie in the shallower flats and rapids areas. The walleye fishing can be pretty decent especially during low light of dawn/dusk.

Good luck up there! I was at Pictured Rocks earlier this year. Didn't do any fishing in the area, but I tussled a few nice bass out of the Tahquamenon river just below the falls.

I was fishing below the lower falls. There are a few good spots between there and the campsites. The river mouth looks like a great place to fish. I stopped at that spot to check it out, but unfortunately I did not get a chance to drop a line in there. Also, I hiked the trail between the lower and upper falls (all 8 miles of it) and saw a bunch of good holes for someone with a fly rod and a pair of waders.
