woooohooooo first bass!!!!!!

Hey all I caught my very first bass ever tonight at 10:05 pm. WOOOOW what a fight!!! But then again I am just compareing it to the perch and bluegills I usually catch. I caught it on a strike king buzz bait, in Jordan Lake in Lake Odessa. Sorry about the excitement but I am 31 and have only been fishing for not quite a year heavy anyway.........................Matt

Oh yeah it was 17 inches, and pretty fat, I dont have a scale yet, but I will be getting one soon.......Matt

congrats on your 1st bass...they're fun as all heck to catch...try lake saint clair...one of the best bass fisheries in the world.! good luck!!:cool:

Thanks marble, I was really pumped. I was calling my wife on the radio trying to get her to come down there with her camara so I could try and get a pic. Oh well, maybe next time........Matt

I'm hooked too. Just took my girl out a few weeks ago she never cought one either. We caught them on there bed's and nailed them now she want's to catch fifty every time we go out. She thinks it's like that all the time. Ever try rubber worm's ????

Thanks you guys. I managed to catch about a 15 incher the next night, then took a night off and caught another one tonight (thursday) 6/20. Caught it on a spinner bait. I now have a new "lucky hat". Three nights fishing three bass. I hope My luck holds out. As soon as I get the pics I will post them............Matt
