Heading out to the SCR to catch some eyes Wednesday night. If anyone else is gonna be out give me a shout on 68! We cant decide whether to fish north of the bridge or near stag. Any suggestions?

man, i am leaning to stag, but i have not been able to pull wire north of bridge yet this year, each time i have went there have been big swells. tonight should be perfect. will not be launching until 9 if i do. i guess if i get nothing at the bridge, i have a midnight hole just south of the black river i can hit. reports are spottie up there. by the way, its a 90% chance that i will be able to get out of work tonight:)

i should be able to leave work at 7-ish, and hope to launch latest by 9, may be able to launch earlier if everything lines up.

Looks like the rains will be coming right through the Detroit area and will miss most of Macomb County and north. To bad, we really need the rains to soak into the ground and get the water table back up.

Looks OK for fishing until about midnight when there could be a few storms moving in but the percentages have dropped to about 50%.

RJT was good luck, each time he came by us i picked up a fish:lol:

i ended up with 4 and my partner got 1, he kept sticking to his rapala's:dizzy:,
4 fish taken ahead of red and green buoy past bridge, last one picked up right after rjt said he was heading in, i started trolling down river below the black river and picked one up right away, then a freighter kept getting closer so we hugged the shore, than when he was almost on top of us he cut in towards us and we had to hurry and pull everything up and spin the boat and hit it, ending up docking right where we were.

Tim, It was nice to put a face with a name last night. Glad you ended up with a few fish for your efforts. Personally I drank more beer than I caught fish. Boat ran nice.

I'm glad I brought you some luck last night. Thats not the first time someone told me that. One of these days I might bring my self some luck and boat a limit!

looks like i am working early hours on saturday, out by 3pm, may try NC or Baltimore cut for eye's and than anchor after dark for sturgeon.
sunday night for sure i will be out, have to see where my mentor wants to fish.
