Van Ettan Lake

Hello Sportsmen,

I was just looking to see if anyone had any updated information regarding Van Ettan Lake. Like weather , water temps, what's been hittin and what's not. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Key concern is the weeds in the lake. I've had the best catches of my life working the weed line, but I've heard that chemicals have been added to kill off the weeds, I hope not. Seems like that would just decrease the fishability of a great lake only to appease the pleasure boaters.

Here is a report I got from another site.

Perch are beginning to run again in the Van Ettan Lake and anglers are using minnows for bait. A few Walleye are also being caught on night crawlers and leaches. A few Pike are being taken with buzz baits and wax worms.
