I am not up to speed on all of the archery technologies, but when I put the broadheads onto the carbon arrows, the diameter of the end of the broadhead is larger then the diambete of the arrow. This has a sudden drop off between the two.

Are there certain broadheads that should be used with carbon arrows?

Is there a adapter piece to make a smooth transition?

Is this a common thing with broad heads and carbon arrows and should not worry about it? The shoot fine.

the field tips I shoot are the same diameter as the arrow, and only have th problem with the broadeads being wider.

Theres an adapter called a u.b.a.r. (ubar), or at least thats what the adapters for thunderheads are called. :)
