I hope this is the right forum for this. I was wondering if there are any good spots in Lk. St. Clair for bow fishing? I would like to give it a try, but am completley new to this and need a little info and help.

Anywhere you can get "legal" access to shallow mucky, marshy waters should get you into the fish. some guys flyfish the flats for them. I typically do not bowfish after the spawn, when it is EASY to find the fish. I know they hold tourneys year round but most of those are at night. If you have a boat your options get a whole lot better.

You may want to repost in the archery section. More archers and bowfishermen there.

the lake is shallow and clear. There are probably a lot of places to gain legal access to the shore. I would take a spot light down at night and shoot from shore. The lake is loaded with fish. You won't believe it! I have only shined at night when I didn't have my bow with me. I saw hundreds of fish!! I was really kicking myself for not having it with me. Be careful what your shooting. We saw some big walleye and bass that could be mistaken for carp or suckers. Good luck
