Just got back from KD Outdoors (http://www.kdoutdoors.net/) with my new Bowtech Bow. I love it. Many thanks to Ken and Mike for working with me well left eye right eye dominance confusion. They worked with me long after closing taking time away from their families to make sure everything was right with my bow. I kept saying I could come back another day to finish it up, but they insisted on getting it done tonight.

I now have a bow that is in the 21st century. Can't wait to start shooting it. My arm needs a rest tonight so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

I have a question for all of you that visit KD. Do you tell them you are a MS member when you walk in? The reason I ask is it seems like all of the members here can say no wrong about KD. I am customer from the "old" KD and decided to give them a try. I walked in like a normal person off the street to get some work done on my bow, I am not one to say I am a MS member or that I visit the site all the time, because I believe that should not matter. They told me it would take a couple of days as they did not have what I needed. I explained that I would like to leave my bow because I was going out of town. I asked if it would be done by the time I got back (6 days) and they said no problem. When I went in to get it they had not even started working on it. Now in defense of them they did jump on it and get it done right there, but it did cost me extra time from work as I went on my lunch hour. Then I went to shoot that night and the peep fell out after the second shot. Just made me wonder. Please don't think I am slamming them in any way, just my personal experience and thoughts. I personally didn't see any difference in service then any other shop I have visited since I moved back to Michigan.

I have been in there a number of times for fishing supplies. Have never told them I was a M-S member and have treated better there than at any big box store by far. Each time I go in, the person at the register comes out and personally helps me find what I need and demonstrates the use (Senko O-ring tool) to me. Haven't done anything w/bowhunting yet but KD will be the first place I shop to get my new Darton bow.

Shot some more in my basement this morning. Man I love that Barska holographic sight. My groupings are excellent. I just need to micro adjust it a bit.

I was in several times before revealing my username. And it wasn't til I did that that they no longer offered me the donuts and coffee!!:lol::lol: Just kidding! They've always been above and beyond the call of duty with me. ;)

I usually dont bring up the Ms.com reference until after several minutes of casual conversation with the guys there.. I've always felt the service to be great whether or not ms.com was even brought up..

That is until Ken busts out one of his old jokes.. (i.e. Quieting down my bow for me)..

Came back in to KD Outdoors this Saturday. Within 1/2 hour Mike and Dave had me dialed in out to 20 yards. My arms aren't sore anymore. I am getting into bowseason shape. How is your arm Ken? Anymore Icy/Hot needed? :)
