Try Wessel's Gun Shop. It is located on the south side of 9 Mile, about three or four buildings west of Ryan. Be sure you ask for Eric, he's the gunsmith. The phone number there is (586) 756-2660.

Thanks for the recommendation. I took it to the range recently and it fired once then wouldn't fire. The safety wouldn't disengage even though I was flipping the safety. I fiddled with it a little bit, got it to fire again, then the same problem happened. I like the rifle and really think it is my own lack of proper maintenance causing the problem. Admitting a problem is the first step towards recovery. :)

Pull the bolt apart. Sounds like its just gummed up or maybe has a broken spring. Shouldnt be that big of a deal to trouble shoot.

As much as I like Michi- Gun they are not gunsmiths, they may find the problem but there not gunsmiths. Last time I was in Wessles i couldn't help but wonder what they did to pay the rent. My god they have nothing in there but junk. D&D in is a real gunsmith shop that does nothing but gunsmithing. They'll do the job for a fair price any test fire and return a finished job that you can count on.

Wow. When did this happen?

Back to the question. What about Double Action on Dequindre? For handguns they do seem to be able to do the work presented to them. I have not talked to anyone who took a rifle in, though.
