got out about 5 minutes after dark with a newbie in the guest seat:gaga:...shoulda got there before dark, he was tangled up over there :yikes: before we even snapped the rapalas on...but anyhow after laying out the lines we proceded to pull a steady stream of walters up while staying above the crowd...once some boats pulled out [around 1130] we dropped down a tad and started crossing the channel...i found it literally impossible to drag a gold sided orange back #5 rap eastward thru the 50 ft spot without a pesky :fish:gettin on my bottom lead...tried again and again to run this gauntlet of :fish:but never did make it thru there unscathed...practiced some c+r and then looked up and wow...its 2 am!... time flies when you are having fun!!!

the best is the newbie held a lead for much of the nite [it was my night to lose 5 of em 10 ft behind the boat]...and he got his limit his first time handlining...
