Just wondering if anyone was planning on attending the Oakland County Sportsmens Club Jamboree this weekend and participate in the 3d shoot on Saturday.

Where are you located on M-59? Are you down by Pontiac Lake or more towards the East end of Waterford?

Well I just stopped by KD Outdoors on my lunch hour (well hour and a half it is Friday) and picked up the last hip quiver they had.
They are buzzing around getting ready for their event tomorrow. If any of you get a chance stop in and support your members, they may do the same for you someday.

What did you folks think of the course? What style did you shoot? I shot the BHFS and did pretty good. I ended up with a 280. The first have was really easy, I shot a 146 on the first half. The second half was a little more challenging I only shot a 134 on this half. Those little bears messed me up.
Did any of you shoot the long range bear (100 yards)? I did, the first shot I completely missed the bear (tooooo short), second shot I hit the bottom of the target, the 3rd and final shot I hit 7 inches high of the dot.
Hope you all enjoyed yourselves, feel free to post those scores. I met up with sahrpshooter and shot with him. This was his first 3d shoot, I will let him fill in the details on how he liked it.
I got to shoot the new PSE bow.. OH MY GOSH...... If they would have had one there in my draw length it would have came home with me. That thing shot bullets, and shot like a dream.

Real nice course, and set up well. DEERSLAYER#1 shot 146 and 146, 292 total. The fist half was downhill shots, and the second half had a couple elk out a little ways, and some targets in the shade. We had a good time, and will likely be back tomorrow with a bigger group.
We did shoot at the 100 yard bear, but missed a little right on a group of six shots. DEERSLAYER shot with me, and he just missed the red dot by 2 inches 3 times. Who knows about tomorrow?

292 Wow great shooting. I may have to go back tomorrow and give it another shot. I took a goose egg (0) on the first small bear. I actually hit the target but blew a chunk out and ended up not sticking.
The downhills were fun to shoot but caused us old guys to sweat.
