Maniac gets first test.

Well my buddy calls me up says steve, Im taking the boys to kill some pork.

Boys are 11-13 I said pork........ good deal I say taking boys on pre deer hunt warm up i say he says yeapers. well great i tell him well what do you need. he ask for my ground blind.I say humm ok. oh and some heads for there bow's ok i say try these he gets over i hand him 2 packs of the AF maniac's
a week goes by.......I hear back. he is all ready went to the store and bought 6 packs of them......I saw what and why (sheeepish grin on face)
he says the first son david 11 year old shooting 40 pounds at 15 yards drove it through to the vanes at 24 inches wel lgreat i tell him.....

his other boy shooting a bit more poundage. 45 almost did the smme at 20 yds hogs were 175 and 210 pounds not monsters but yet good eaters.

they said that head sliced like warm butter.. and the hogs died in 30 yds.

now he and his boys know the differance between wild hunts and ranches and etc.. they went to get boar they love it. so ok no issue there with me.
good for them..

the head did great... looking foward to deer season the boys were geeked as all get out man that sound in there voice was awesome.

Do you have any affiliation with this company? Is this just an opinion on a product, or more of an advertisement?

My opinion.....I shoot a lot of gear every year cause of my job. but in this case I have zero to do with them (aftershock) other than knowing them from shows. and running into there guys here and there.......As i stated beofre I shoot for and am sponserd by the best around that being muzzy.....

But when i get a chance to see items used that have performed such as mueller scopes Though i was sponsered by swarvoski and now nikon.

when i see a prouduct that works and works well if it helps fellow hunters. then Im all about telling people about it. I get no money, no prouduct from them ....... if i get it i pay for it.

I like the Maniac broadhead as well. I went for a hog hunt back in June and I fired a bad placement shot and hit the shoulder... ended up blowing thru the shoulder and got a pass thru. I found the hog about 25-30 yards.

I used their mechanicals before, but it looks like that I might stick with this new fixed blade.
