wed. night stag pulling wire

launched around 9pm, had 2 fish right away in 20 fow lost one of them, hit one in 33 fow:one_eye: about 10 pm on a fire tiger, went back to my spot and popped 2 in 23-25 fow about 10:30, almost midnight so we hit the 28-30 fow and popped 4 on yellow pp's. had to call it early to get partner home so we left with 7, then picked up 3 at the launch real quick:lol:

not sure:confused: if it was the color or just the depth at the right time, second time out this week and caught most on strange colors. seems like dusk 20-22fow, 10 - 10:30 23-25 fow, midnight 28-30 fow both nights this week.

Good job on the fish and nice Report!! I notice your pulling a lot of pencil plugs Timeye.....why not Rapalas?? are you pulling the 2 hook Z plugs or the longer pencil plugs?? River rat Like pulling those Stubies also!!

just does not seem like they are anymore active with the small ones, i have been using the full size, everytime out i try a few passes with small rapala's and small pp's, just does not seem to be the best bet for me. last night i switched from #5 & #7's and popped a fish before it hit bottem. water was a little dirtier than monday night. so maybe they felt the vibrations of the bigger ones better in that condition, who knows.

Nice work on the fish. I will be out there tomorrow night tossing everything I got at em. Just have to hope it is one of those days where they like the first thing you drop down.

Matbe I need to go a tad bigger on the plugs I will have to try the next time out.. I need to get a clown on there or at least those new clown pencil plugs that River rat painted up for me:lol:.. Cya Slick

bottom plug was monday night,
middle plug was wednesday night
top plug was last week 2 nights in ph
and the top plug is the damaged plug that i need to see if riverrat can copy.

there are more people using the little ones i think, just not the time of year for me ,,soon, and any thing crome or clown just has not worked for me in a month.

Talk to Hotwired about your top Pencil plug TimEye...He has a few painted similar to that and it has been a favorite of his for years!!;)
