SCR wed night pulling wire report

Hello all MWP and I headed out to see if we could catch some fish tonight but it wasent in the cards for us we started pulling wire around 9pm and pull lines at midnight and we went 3 for 4 tonight.. The best part was I got to watch MWP catch his first walleye handlining now that was fun because he was asking me how will I know if I have one and what will it feel like and I was like you will know:lol:.. I had to laugh when I hear him say I got one:lol: and how you just flip them over the side of the boat, well we have a new convert to the dark side guys because MWP loves handling already :lol:..

I got to meet Timeye and Brett74 nice to meet you guys hopefully I will see you out there again by the way they got 7 tonight nice job guys.. Brett74 I saw in another post you were looking for a boat there is a small one right by the house here but if I am not mistaken there is no motor.. Seanileone was also out there tonight nice to talk to you as well, it was practicaly a Michigan sportsman meet and greet tonight:lol:..

No pictures of fish tonight guys because I threw then into Timeye's boat at the ramp before he left so if you want to see my three fish look for his post with the picture of 10 fish and you will see mine:lol:.. It looks like I need two new deep cycle batteries for the boat what do you guys recomend? Cya Slick

as long as you are on the darkside:lol: you will probably see me out there alot. brett just picked up a boat a couple days ago and starting to get it ready to pull wire (think we have another addict here:lol:).

i am sure some peeps here have good idea's on batteries but i stick to diehards when i need to replace batteries. can not beat the strength and the 3 year replacement with an addition year prorated.

i may not be out again till sunday night and that may be for sturgeon.

I went out with a new comer to pulling wire tonight and we had a good time. I managed 3 for 4 (he lost his first and only walleye at the side of the boat) I also caught 2 Goby and a small mouth bass that weight about 5 # by far the biggest smally this year. The other night I caught a smally that was 3 1/2 to 4 # and that was small compared to the one I got tonight. All of the fish that I caught was on a #7 brook trout rap. in 30' to 33'. We fished in St. Clair and in Marine City.

Nice post slick, this is bad you are starting to bring other people with you to the darkside. LOL Maybe out tonight with MarbleeyeMack in PH, so if your in the river pulling wire by the Bayer plant (I know the name changed but can't remember what to) and see a sea ray sitting on the american side by the gazabo whipping say hi. L8TR.

You had a nice night to be out there Slick!! Did you try the Dow plant on the canadien side also??? We did well there last year.....I talked with a buddy who is still just killing them up at the mouth of lake Huron also!!

Hey Kev I have lots of spots I wanna try yet but I have been sticking to the area that I have been getting limits from the last couple of nights but I am thinking of venturing out here soon need to buy a couple of deep cycles today because it seems my are just about all done..

My radio gps and fish finder were shuting down last night and I was like Oh ****:lol: that bow mount pulls a lot of power..

Radio head I still love pulling bottom bouncers but I have to go with what geting the limits:lol:

It was a great night to be on the water thats for sure!!.Ya we only managed three fish but Hey sometimes it just isn't meant to be,it was still a great time!I look at it like I learned a new technique to put fish in the box.Now I just gotta find a way to tell the little woman:rant: how much I'll be spending to get everything needed for my new hobby of handlining:evil:So I guess I'll be needing a couple of handlining reels fellas....and thanks again Brent for showing me the ropes,and hey no tangles for this first timer:D

I'm getting there with Rapalas!! I just about have every color....well maybe not just yet!!;) My main connection for custom painted Raps told me he thinks I have more than anyone he knows.....better safe than sorry!:lol::lol:
