North channel Deckers area

Any reports from the North Channel around the Deckers area?

Went out Sunday morning with two friends. Started fishing around 5:45am. Picked up the first walleye at 6:30 across the channel from Dekkers by the houses. Made another drift and nothing. Went out by the number 17 can and picked up one more. Then nothing again. Made a run to the middle channel for a couple hours and only caught a sheephead and a small perch. Went back to the 17 can for a final drift at noon and picked up my 3rd at 12:15. The rain keep the pleasure boaters home and sent us packing as well. I caught 3. My buddy's caught 0. Plenty of rock bass, white bass and those pesky little bait stealing gobbies.

I'm heading out early Saturday Morning from Deckers. I heard the action was farther into the lake 13 marker or so. I'll report back tomorrow with results. Have a great weekend!

I was out usually 2 times a week during the week and things got real busy. haven't been out in 3 weeks!

But this is the slow time of year for walleye, so it appears I am not missing much!

Stupid School, cant wait to be done with it!
