My buddy called and wants to go to Port Huron Friday night. We haven't been yet this year. Anyone doing any good? We will be bottom bouncing or jigging. Thanks for any reports.

we were out there over a week ago and launch at sundown to pull wire, and everyone we talked to had few or none with bb's and it was a long night for pulling wire. some guys are reporting good action so i think its hit and miss. if the wind is right i would try just into the lake just past that coast guard post and drift in, probably short drifts but hopefully they are still there.as for depths, i would vary the depths each pass till you find them, at night they have been changing depths every hour. just my $.02 since i hardly pull bb's these days.

I love Bottom Bouncing the river, it worked best for me at Sun up to about 11 am, just drifting, the wind had to be right so to jig straight up and down. I haven't had a boat in two years, but when I did, it didn't matter where I launched, 12 th stree here in town, or down in Algonac and in between, BB'en by hand was always my favorite in the summer. I am sure it would work anyday right now.
