I'm planning on going in today for a new String on my Hoyt and was wondering what type everyone recommends and why.

I'll keep that in mind but I'm planning on dropping it off on my lunch break today at a local shop.

I was going to recommend Vapor Trail Strings but it looks like you had your mind made up. What did you decide to go with??

VT gets some fine reviews, but after I looked at the strings that come on the Elite bows, I would probably never buy them.

Also, Elite is not happy with VT, and they are changing companies, and guess who will be building the strings????

In the past I have had Winner's Choice and Vapor Trail strings on my bows. This year I decided to give Wolf Den a try on my new Guardian. I could not be more pleased with with strings AND the customer service!

Jason does a OUTSTANDING job in my opinion!

Just as long as they don't put the Hoyt stock string/cable back on:( you'll be fine..Winners Choice is one of the best, I use one made by Bucknasty..Just as good half the price. Good Luck
