Took my 5 year old out on a fishing trip with a few friend saturday morning. We went out on Susin Lake for about 6 hours and halfway through the morning after catching numerous bluegills, my boy latched into a nice largemouth. He set the hook and fought the fish on his own all the way in. Only had to help him land the boat and keep the rod up once when the fish tried to run under the pontoon of the boat. I was so proud!!!

Now he wants all of the fish to be big fish. I guess I got my work cut out for me.

That's a big fish for a little guy. Nice going. I bet you will have a fishing buddy for life if you keep his interest in it.
