Just wondered what it takes to be able to launch your boat at a state park? I thought it was just the state park sticker. But I see on the dnr site there is also a boat launch sticker? Do you just need one or the other or Both?
thanks

Get Both Some accesses are stand alone and some are within state parks.

If the launch is inside the State Park (like Dickenson at 7 Lakes) then you need the daily or annual State Park sticker (lower right corner of windsheild)-[I have only needed the one (state park) sticker]. If the launch is a state owned DNR launch like Lake Ponemah, Lake Fenton etc, then you need the State DNR sticker (lower left corner of the windsheild). Then there are multiple county launches that have their own fees/stickers, plus private marina launch fees.
Just depends on where you fish.

Does anyone know what the website is to buy a boat launch sticker online? Or where you can buy one in person?
I can find the MVP for the state parks, but have not been sucessful at finding a boat launch website.
Thanks

You have to buy them in person. I learned that when we bought on for the inlaws for xmas. Actually we had to give them the money because you have to have the vehicle that you are putting it on there when you buy it....just a heads up.
