Just wondering if any one else has any horror stories relating to tracker boats or tahoe boats or their customer service.. I purchased a 06 tahoe deck boat in march of 06 and had to drop it off in July of 06 for warranty work, it has been over one year now still no boat.. just a run around. Finnaly scraped up the money to hire a lawyer to help with this problem.. Service that i have received at two different dealerships and their corp. offices has been horrible.. you would think after dropping $34,000 on a new boat the service would be good. This was our first new boat and what a nightmare it has been..I have official boycotted Bass Pro Shops because of this.. Was wondering if this was an isolated incident or if others have had trouble with this co..:yikes:

Technically they are not part of BPS. From what I understand is they rent out space at the store, and probably have some kind of deal to advertise in the catalogs. Ninja can probably tell you exactly.
Yes, I heard thier customer service is less than desireable. I have a Tracker but never needed service. My buddy had his in briefly twice for service. Nothing major (tuneup and carb replacement on a new kicker motor.)

From what I hear it's BPS that's the problem and not Tracker.

I wouldn't own another Tracker boat. I bought a new 18 footer for walleye fishing. For the life of me I can't remember the model. It was aluminum, high side with 90 HP Merc. From day one I couldn't get it to plane properly as it would list to one side and pretty heavily too. Took it back for warranty repair and they couldn't figure out the problem. Tracker wouldn't help either. Finally I asked if I could trade it in on a Starcraft Superfisherman 190. I did and lost a bundle on that Tracker boat which wasn't a year old. Never again.

Tracker is also sold at Gander Mountain now... so you gonna boycott Gander also?
I've got a 1988 Tracker Pro 17... so far it's been a pretty good boat. Some loose rivets that I've had to fix, but for a 20 year old boat, I think that's to be expected. The one time I did call Tracker to ask a few questions I got very good service from the rep on the other end of the line.

lund and tracker ..numbers 1 and 2 in complaints..but then again they sell the most as well. dealership and manufacturer customer service is a 'crapshoot' at best...............crestliner wins most of the awards for customer satisfaction.....that and a buck gets you a cup of coffee!:(

Tracker Marine is owned by BPS and thats why I am no longer spending my dough at thier stores.. Cabelas can have it all..
BPS catches shoppers at home with its seasonal and specialty catalogs and through its TV and radio programs. It owns Tracker Marine (boat manufacturing) and American Rod & Gun (sporting goods wholesale) and runs a resort in the Ozark Mountains. Founder John Morris owns BPS.

I have made a lot of weld repairs on several different ones ,I don't know how bad they were abused ,but Lake Eire takes its toll on a lot of boats especially guys going from fiberglass to aluminum

Have an 04 Tracker Pro Guide V16 and have used it a whole lot. Been bouncing across the bay, out in 4 footers on the big lake, and use it at least once a week on inland lakes and haven't had one minutes problem with the boat.................
Funny a guy I know hated his Lund as it was in the shop almost weekly for some type of boat repair...........

I'm having trouble with your math... where does tracker = fisher? What's fisher? Who is fisher? Please explain.
Meanwhile, I'll keep fishing from my junk I guess.:D

Sorry Mike but myself I would not buy a tracker unless it's there top end model like the one Gary Parsons and keith Kavaez run and Fisher is a terrible boat.. Cya Slick
