If you dont get a response try iboats. The people there seem to know thier old boats.

in the 60's glastron hull id numbers had 6 digits,,,the third number frpm the left would be the year,,,,you know a 615089 would indicate a 1965.
also you are calling this boat a 164db? most glastron modle numbers from the 60's would start with a V,,,, like V-164 would be a Bayflight.
Is your boat an I/O or an outboard? what do the gastron logos look like?

I will have to stop and check the #'s. It is a I/O, 4 cyl mercruiser. Also has a rounded windshield.

Tonga,

No, I do not have any pic's. It is for sale and I am concidering picking it up. Needs a makeover but it is in realy good shape if you ask me. I have been to the classic glastron site. Lots of info however as you mentioned the model # should have a "V" in it. Not sure what to make of the #164 DB. I found nothing relating to that particular #.
