Grand River

Anyone been out fishin the grand river area or buoys near Grand Haven? I haven't fished it in a couple weeks and i was planning a fishing trip over there sometime this weekend. What pattern can i expect to find the fish and at what deapths? thanks

SKWildThang The pattern for Sat will be the livewell as BBT has a tourny that day about 100 boats so if you go you can just watch some of then and do the same. hehe then call me on my cell i need the help:) spinnerbate,buzzbate and small worms and dont forget the jigs black and blue. good luck

I was fishing sterns Bayou last week Monday. The bass were hot. We caught one 3-3.5 two 2.5 and a 1.5lb. These were all caught on topwater rapala. They were still hitting hard when we left. They didn't hit until about 1 1/2 hours before sunset. The hits were in about 2-3 ft of water and a few that were on the drop off's.
