You may consider a Yozuri pin's minnow, or a Diawa TD minnow, rapala's are a bit fat in my opinion, i like the smaller bodied baits, and they work well jerked they do the walk the dog thing quite well, the rap's are more of a twitch and dead stick bait, just my opinion, Good luck!

Agree. The steelhead, atlantics and king's like them too! Go with the 2 3/4" size if you can. They're getting hard to come by now though...they came out with the Magnet Minnow now.
Pricey though! Grrrr....

I say tiny tads or pin minnows.
Tads for steel, pins for walleye/bass.

Kinda Ironic I started the thread but havent shared me secrets :evil:Ok time for me to chime in here. How about everything I can get my hands on that looks like a minnow in the 1 1/2 inch size up 3 inches. This list includes F3 raps to yozuri pinn minnows. The lews speed minnow,Diawa Dr minnow,The rebel holographic from 1 1/2 to 3 inches size. The berkly frenzy minnow which I caught a decent 5-6lb walleye on this am, also has been producing a great amount of fish. The best for last a great little cheap bait from walmart that starts with an R.Im obbessed with always trying to find more of them that I dont have also.Looking for some more ideas with helpfull links to the websites if anyone has any that can share. Thanks aaron
