I plan on fishing here on Sunday morning. Does anyone fish here? Any pointers would be apprciated. I've only fished here once and didn't catch anything despite the good things I've heard about it. I only have a 12' row boat so I pretty limited on what lakes I can fish. I usually fish Mill pond In Dowagiac but thought I would try Stone.
Thanks,
Jon

I havent had a chance to fish it this year, however thats wher i grew up. I know it really gets choked with weeds. I dont know exactly what your after, bass, gills. There are plenty of bass in the lake, I do know the legal limit used to be 12in there, because there were so many. There are some lunkers in there I know for sure. There are good size gills and crappie in there to.......... hope that helps

I'm after bass, I guess it would help if I mentioned that:). I read that min imum is 10" in Stone and Corey in Cass County untill March of 2010. I live by Kelsey lake but have no access to it. Are there any other species in Stone? Pike, Walleye?
