We've named this buck "The Future" for obvious reasons. Hoping he makes it a year or two more. We've gotten several pics of this buck in his growing cycle. Hope he makes it through gun season.

Another 2.5 with good potential. Check out the junk around the bases. Hopefully both these deer make it through.

Cool! I would guess them to be both 2.5 year olds.

I think they are both 2.5s. The body size of both of the bucks indicates probably a 2.5.

Awesome photo!!!!!!!!!!! I love the deer with the multi brow tines! A very rare thing to see a deer of that age with such pronounced multi brow tines. That deer in another year will be nice, but imagine it between 4 1/2 - 6 1/2.
Awefully tempting, chomping at the bit...but if you wait you can reep the rewards!!!patience is a virtue;)

Very unique headgear, Hopefully he makes it a few more years, and if he keeps growing the same way he could be a absolutely amazing rack
Hate to admit it but I've taken deer in my early career that didn't have that many on their whole head.:lol:Cool looking bucks.

Maydar1,
Very impressive for 2.5. Heck, that would be a dandy 3.5 year old in my neighborhood.
Don,
Don't be ashamed of those early bucks. When you took them, they made you do the "happy butt" dance, didn't they?:D:lol: I've taken a lot of bucks in the past that I would just smile and wave at today. It's all part of the process of growing, and maturing as a deer hunter. If at any time you shoot a buck that your disappointed with, then you need to step back and re-evaluate what your doing, and why your doing it, so that you can make adjustments to your style of hunting, or type of quarry. No animal deserves to die just because it's season, you should always be happy with the deer you take.
Truer words were never spoken Nimrod.

There is a buck in the August issue of Michigan Sportsman magazine that would pass as his daddy. It was a 191"+ non-typical shot in your area last year that has the same set of brow tines 4 on one side 3 on the other just like your buck. If I remember from the article it was a state record last year. I had just finished looking at the article yesterday when i logged in and saw your pics. That is definately an awesome looking deer.

Yeah, thats actually my buddy that shot that 191" buck. They do have similar characteristics but are about 30 miles from each other.
