Took the two kids fishing last evening. What a blast we had.:) We were catching a lot of 6 to 12" bass (both small and large). We knew that we had some storms moving in so we decided to troll around a point (on Portage Lake). My wife, son (5 yrs.) and myself were all throwing jigs with a white twisty tail. Just as we moved off the point my son yells that he has a fish on. It was the largest fish of the evening. Measuring at 13" even. Made his night. The only bad thing is that my wife forgot to grab the camera:(. Can't wait 'til next time.
