Well we had a record 14 boats show up this morning! I guess word of mouth is pretty powerful amongst bass fishermen.

Some totals first:

We paid out 3 places and big bass today.
76.38 total pounds weighed in.
32 total fish turned in.
3 boats had limits.
5 boats didn't weigh in fish (one boat chose not to weigh in their one fish)
First place boat had two 6 pounders!! Can you say CRANKBAIT???

Great turnout... just wish there would have been more MS.com guys there...

Yeah I am mainly a crank fisherman too. See Eric, we might have done something :sad:. Sounds like a good weigh in.
He pulled out on me and I didn't wanna go alone in my boat. I just got it all fixed up for a trip next week. Might tag along tomorrow...

After seeing those big boys come to the scale i saved myself any further embarresment and let mine go. For some reason the pike wouldn't leave me alone and i lost a few lures and landed one pike but for bass? the only one i caught was the one 2.5 or 3# next to the launch with only 45 minutes to go:lol:. Oh well had fun, nice to meet you mike. I will try another one soon!

Yeah, I lost a brand new, never been wet chatterbait to a pike today. My partner landed a really nice one too. Other than that I didn't fish all that well... and didn't feel that well either....
