Fished west on Friday, as my original plans for the Soo bombed(my own fault). Waters were low, clear and warm. The fish didn't show much interest in spawn(one did) or crawlers, so out came the metal. We also seen three "other" fish;) in another river and they were all small, under 10lbs. The trout very active as well, but we didn't really actually fish for them. Here's a couple pics:

Shiny metal can be a "Godsend" on certain days!;) Great job on the fish.It looks like I was a couple weeks too early......for now:lol: !

Oh yeah, metal was definanetly a godsend on this trip. Those fish wouldn't touch anything, not at all. But they were all over the hard stuff. They didn't fight worth a crap, I used 8lb and had absolutely no problem landing them. I'm sure the fact they were small and in 70 degree water didn't help......;) . They definanetly were not stacked, and we did have to work a bit to get them to go. That's one bad thing about these fish, they are very day to day sometimes.
