Hudler is back for 2 years

The Detroit Red Wings announced Thursday that the club has re-signed forward Jiri Hudler (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/player_bio.asp?player_id=2898) to a two-year contract.
In keeping with club policy, additional terms of the deal are not available.
In his first full season in 2006-07, Hudler appeared in 76 games and led all Detroit rookies in goals (15), assists (10) and points (25).
The Czech Republic native also made his playoff debut in 2007, playing in six games and tallying two assists.

880,000 was the price. not too bad considering how much he scored in so little ice time. i think they need to give him more ofa chance. any way, russian teams where offering him almost thrice the amount to play for them. hats off the rex hddles for the loyalty, unlike some. not a world mover, but hes a good player. i like this deal.
