where from shore?

I plan on camping in Port Huron this comming week. Can someone recomend a place to fish from shore with med. action spinning rod. I don't care what species, just want to fish :p . Thanks in advance.

Yeah 16th street pond is visable from I-94 business loop over near Sams club. The access is off of Lapeer Rd. on 40th street going to the South.

I believe that its a no motor lake but I'm not sure on that one? Look it up on Yahoo map using that hybrid feature and you can see the access and the dock in the picture
