Well Gilly and I headed over to one of our favorite spots to fish today in the wind and the rain:dizzy: and it stared out slow and slowly picked up untill we had 11 and then they shut right down could not catch another to fill a two man ticket.. I have a confession to make I had live worms on the boat:rolleyes: first time in a few years it's a long story why I had them on the boat today but I was running Swamprats rig's today white twister tail with a little bity bit of worm in front of the twister tail..

It was fun out there even in the rain and wind, Sorry about the picture being dark I dont know what the problem is but when I get a chance I will see if I can figure it out.. Cya Slick

Sounds good John, I am kinda getting burned out on walleye in the river  need a change from time to time, I know I am going to take some heat for that statement:lol:.. I also want to challenge myself here pretty soon and see if I can find the walleye in lake Huron and I am not talking about right near the bridge been there done that..

I am talking about Lexington area, they say that lake Huron could turn out to be a walleye fishery instead of salmon and with the big boom of walleye in Saginaw bay them walleye should be more abundent then they use to be in Huron.. Yeah John my electric knife gets a good work out on perch when we go to Simcoe:lol: Cya Slick

Thanks Rick I do apperciate the offer I just cant make it since I will be up north..

I dont know about you guys but being on a fishing boat all day getting the sun exsposer for so long takes it right out of me does any one else have this problem at all? The wife and I use to take our Sport Craft and drive it to one of our local beaches and my wife would lay out all day and get a killer tan but I would be hiding under the binimi top trying to keep out of the sun..

That last trip to Erieau on saturday took it right out of me, I went to bed that night and woke up on sunday tired still from saturdays trip.. Thats why I like early morning or evening fishing trips, but I still do all day fishing trips but not as much as I use to.. Cya Slick

Cya SlickThat sun is evil, the wife doesn't understand my naps that I need when I get home. And if no nap is in order I'm totally useless, sun takes everything I have out of me!

I fished the point in front of the north chanel yatch club last night. Picked up four eyes all in 20 ft of water. Pulling wire with raps, firetiger getting all the eyes. The only fish I caught down deep were rock bass.

Yeah, that sun gets me too. Especially since I've had Heatstroke and/or Sunstroke three times. One time it almost killed me. Missed two weeks of work. If you see me on the water now it's usually in long pants, long-sleeve shirt and a hat.

I was in Fair Haven today picking up my new/used motor to put on my new/used boat. Was in the sun for a couple of hours, came home and crashed in the LazyBoy. Still feel like crap, but that's probably just old age.

I look extremely good for my age.

I agree Brent. We do our annual Pentwater trip in August and do 2 trips a day. Its like a marathon but fun. Have to allow a couple days at the end of the week to rest up.

I was up at my place in Tawas last week and we fished out of Augres. Was pretty windy but my oldest boy and I ended up with 9 nice fish. We did well with bb and crawlers when everyone else was running hot n tots and spoons.

Have a nice trip.
