Bird Banding

I am interested in helping to band birds in the Ionia county area. Who do I contact?

I would try contacting the field office of the DNR in Belding. I know they do it sometimes when they go to these lakes and relocate the local birds.Post up if you find anything out I would like to help too.

Bartman. The DNR out of Rose Lake will be banding geese the first two weeks in July. I guess they have quite a few people who volunteer for this, as they were going to put my name on a "list". If or when they call me back, I will pass the info along.

No volunteers needed this year. Maybe next year.
