I went out and jigged the south channel from 5:50-7:45 and landed 4 nice walleyes. Not a hot bite but enough hits to keep it interesting. Fish scattered, 18-24 feet, off weed beds. Gold jig head, brown twister with a chunk of worm & a chartruese jib. A jib is a little chunk of rubber worm that you put over the point of the hook after you put the chunk of worm on the hook. It keeps the worm on the hook and adds some color to the presentation. BTW you will lose a bunch of crawler to perch & gobies.
