1st trip for the stiped bandits of 07

[Gone Fishing]

Well, we don't normally taget perch till the fall but every year some of you guys get me to try it earlier and earlier. Headed out at at the crack at 7:30 and started in the middle of the lake but closer to the north end. Wind was tough and we didn't get squat so we made our way in tight by the Johnson and again the bite was non existant so it was off to Mitchells we go, Not much happening so it was off to Stoney and then the Ruscom area................nada. OK, lets try the edge of the ditch..............nope, not there either. I swear that you guys that stick to the US side do much better in the summer that me. Anyway, its now 12:30 in the afternoon and we have two keepers. Well being convinced that our 1st spot of the day should have produced, we headed back and ended up with just under 100 fish in the next couple hours. I'm not sure if I'll be doing this program anytime soon but I am a sucker for Perch so you never know. Here's a pic of Jr's and my cooler:

Great job on those perch John.....Your a sucker for perch.....would have never known it!:lol: :lol: Whats not to like about those tasty buggers!! I want to try to get Slick out there after them.....show him how to catch some fish on real bait!!:lol: Nice to see you were able to pull paul away from the girls long enough to get a cooler full!!
