Fished the Cracker Saturday evening and picked up 4 in a couple hours near the 29 can (I think) 16 f.o.w.. Went out again to the same area Sunday morning and couldn't buy a freaking walleye. fished shallow, deep, fast, slow, with the wind, against the wind, etc. etc. ....... notta! Made a move to a nameless canal and picked up 76 perch!! Nothing like a Gone Fishing cooler full, but a load of perch just the same. Tiny minnows were the ticket on crappie/perch rigs. I gotta REALLY BAD SUN BURN AND IT FLIPPING HURTS!!!!!!!! Just beacause it's not 90 degrees doesn't mean you can't get burnt. Good talking to ya Big Laker earlier in the morning. Maybe I'll do better once my fishing guide gets back in town I'll do better:lol: .

I am headding out to firecracker for the last couple hours of light tonight, hopefully the fishing goes better tonight.

I was hoping to get out there Wednesday afternoon since I have the day off, but I get the feeling the launch will be full by the time I get there.

work the 15 to 16 f.o.w. around the green 28 or 29 after 4:00 p.m.
3 of my 4 came on a single hook harness rig with a chunk of crawler backed by a white twister tail. People were all over that can yesterday morning. I only saw two fish boated though.

Is 28 - 29 south of the 31 can?

I will use your tactics, no time to play around this evening, wont be fishing until 7pm.

I usually start around the 31 can in 25 fow.

The green bouys will be on the port side of the channel and the numbers go up when traveling upstream.
