Have a couple Questions about yote's..

My neighbor was telling me today that she has seen several yote's behind her house lately.I cannot see them because she mow's her whole yard and I leave mine brushy so I can deer hunt it better.She gave me full permission to shoot them if I can..My question is can I shoot them now without a license and is the season open.I know you can shoot an animal without a license if it is doing harm or about to do harm to porperty or person,but not sure if this falls into that catagory..I dont want to break any laws,especially since my other neighbor is a cop.I do not keep up to date on the Varmint laws..please advise.....

The season opens up on July 15th so I would wait to hunt them. In order to use the about to do damage thing you had better have livestock on the property or a ticket could be coming your way.

I would do what griff said and wait till the 15. Then all you need is a small game licence as long as you are just hunting them. Good luck and take pics!
