Sunday July 1 LSC report

My wife and I headed out of metro this morning musky fishing. It was quite windy and it didn't get any better. We started trolling around 7:15 and at 8:30 we had our first fish a nice 40 incher. About 20 minutes later we had another slam and it was a nice fat 41 incher. After the that the white caps started pounded our 18 footer pretty good so we headed in. All in all it was a pretty productive morning. Both fish came in about 8-9 fow. I am going to post pictures. Hers is already in the album.

Nice Fish. I got skunked on Friday, first time this year. I only trolled from the half mile marker in Fair Haven to the Tin Fish and back, though. A guy from my marina went out on Sunday in the same area and said he only snagged a northern.

Hopefully going out on a longer excursion on Wed. Weeds are getting really bad! Have to check your lines every 5 min.

There seem to be a lot of 30-36 inch muskies out there these days.
