LSC perch

Went out with Big Laker and Cpt. perch for a little rest from the river....we moved just once because our light weight anchor came loose after a big boat went by and we started to drift...but didn't have to move around at all besides that ....for in June...we did descent on the perch.....Ended up cleaning 51 and probably throwing back as many!! Action was slow but steady with a few over 10"........good to get out there and joke around....but I need to get a few more Walleye to make it to my goal # before I switch over to perch completely for the summer!

:lol: :lol: Give or take a few hundred!!.....I'm just near a # that I need approx. 26 more walleye to reach....so I figure I might as well shoot for it!! This my first year for keeping a complete Log book on the river!!......that # will increase greatly come Fall!! I need to keep them going...I have a bunch of hungry friends and the knights of Columbus that love the free fish fries I throw!!

Kevin- hope you didn't have your party hat on too tight last night & make the trip this mornng. We have a open seat for you... A word to the wise-don't bother with those "golden shiners" from Lakeside, the little buggers are hungry for meat. And its nice cathing them without having to bait up continuously with minnows. Will let all know how it goes this morning. Moves my boat from Alter yesterday home for a cleanup & small repair before I launch ym boat at my well at Blossom Heath where I can now pursue my quest for perch. At least I still have a friend who's boat will be stationed at Alter to pull wire for all those eyes come Fall( hint-hint).

;) What you are saying is that you only need to make one more trip out to get your 2-day limit (per person) in your freezer? That is until you consume some of the contents of your freezer, then you can go back out for more walleye?;)

They didn't fair as well as Sat.....I believe they kept 28......we'll get them this weekend though!!

Though I did just pick up another chest freezer last week. That makes 3 now! One for the venison, one for the fish, and maybe I need to go back out!:evil:
