It looks like I will be spending the week of the 4th in the Traverse Bay area. This is one area I have spent little time fishing. Any suggestions? We will have access to a boat that can handle the weather. Thank you for your input.:help:

Glad your commin up to see us. Try out Old Mission point, both humps out fromnt of toboco swamp and Yuba on east arm east side. West side is hit or miss right now. North of Elk Rapids by Atwood is giving up good fish of all species. The ER area has eye's cruzing the shallows foraging at the moment. Rember to keep an eye on that depth graph as the water is very low in both bays and there has been a rash of clanked lower units this past few weeks from running too shallow. The water is extreamlyyyyyyyyyy clear again this year and temps are in the mid to high 60's as of this week. Good luck and be safe out there

I'll be at Lake Leelanau July 12. Might take the boat to the west arm. Keep me informed.

Hopefully I'll see ya out there Mike. Merc says they will have my part to me monday and then a hour to get it stuck on the motor. I fish the CCBA out there every september and need to get in some practice on my "nemisis" lake. I'll talk to a buddie out there that lives on the lake as to how it's been . Should talk to him friday . I'll be in the older silver/gray ChampioN with a black stetson on. Can't miss me .
