I would call Tom's Tackle in East Jordan, but this is what the Petoskey News had to say-

Over in Boyne City, Dave at the Boyne River Bait Company reports that walleye fishing is good on Lake Charlevoix, both on the South Arm and on the east end of the main arm. Some walleye are also being caught on the west end of the lake, near the Coast Guard Station and in the channel.

Dave says the Hex hatch has started on Lake Charlevoix and is about finished on Walloon Lake. Lake Charlevoix is currently giving up some nice big rock bass in the nine to eleven-inch range. A nine-pound smallmouth was caught and released during a recent bass tournament on Lake Charlevoix. That fish was way over the Master Angler minimum (5 pounds) and up there toward the state record of 9 pounds, 4 ounces. Dave says quite a few salmon are being caught off Charlevoix now, but they are rather small, in the 3-5 pound range.

Torch lake is starting its summer patterns. Water temps are hoverin in the high 60's. Baitfish are schooling up and roving with trout and smallies hanging just under the bait pods. Gonna be a tuff lkake to fish this summer again. Other lakes in the chain produce more often . Belaire is still giving up bie eyes and bass. Fish post spawn patterns for the bass and slow drifting for the eyes. Good luck and be safe out there
