View Full Version : Where is boat launch for Reeds Lk- EGR? Thanks

I've never fished this lake and would like help locating the boat launch. Directions off the Beltline would be much appreciated!

Beltline to Lake Drive (just north of Calvin College). Turn West. Follow Lake Drive (it makes a couple "jogs") to Lakeside Drive (elementary school on the corner, EGR High School kiddy corner). Turn north (right) and the ramp will be on your right in Collins Park.

I hope to do a little fishing on the lake Friday or Saturday night...

I have 2 young sons who are going with me and I'm hoping to get into some fish... If you know the lake well and could provide any help, that would be appreciated!

panfish... all over near the ramp and the sunken island that is about mid lake more or less straight out from the ramp

i was out on Reeds last Friday and the fishing was good. the sunken island is a great spot. i caught a lot of crappie with a slip bobber and minnows right on the weed edge. i was also using jigs and minnnows .another good crappie/bluegill spot is just to the east of the school. theres a fairly sharp drop off and the fish always seem to be around. just for a heads up, reeds is almost always busy and the launch can be a zoo anytime of day. i usually end up parking in a parking lot across the street next the apartments. anyways good luck and let us know how you do

Mike I think that is EGR Middle School on the corner there.

But get there early because there is not much parking.

Six, all I know is the kids that come out of the school are a LOT younger than I am!! :D

And no kidding on the parking!!
