Where is Swensons ParK? Do they have a launch and a fee? How do you get there if they do?

Well it looks like I screwed up the spelling and its Svensons.
Not sure if I want to fish there though. Check this.

I do not think there is a ramp at Svensons park. Really I am not sure where it is. Might not be very far from the tannery, if I remember right.

Tannery bay was dredged a few years back to try and clean it up.

Te only lauches I am aware of are at Armstrons bait shop, on the river in Covel Park, Montague ramp and the one by the channel at Lau Rd on Montague side. Covel Park and Lau Rd are for smaller boats.

Drop Hamilton Reef a PM and he can tell you where Svensons Park is at.

I did happen to find a map of Whitehall.
For Svensons park it says small boat launch. Does anybody know if that means kayak or 14 foot aluminum?

Wes, you could just use the Montague ramp... though it's a $10 fee. Nice ramp though.

Wes - Svensons might be the one at 'The Narrows' (across from the tannery). I would not call it a launch though. And ... if you launch from there ... watch out, I hear there are Ice Saws sticking up from the bottom in that area (had to be there ... right Multi).

Multi - What is the one down by the INN/Restaurant & Golf Course (kinda heading towards the Light House)? I have launched there MANY times with my boat. Its free and I'm CHEAP!!!

Svensons is by the Whitehall eagles

Ed That might be nestrom road ending but I am not for sure. I think Nestrom road was where reef got shoved against a van by an irate property owner.

I did most of my fishing from the narrows east when I was a kid so am not that familiar with the big basin of the lake. We even fished from shore on the tannery property. Hummm maybe that is why I am not right!!! Ate to many polluted fish.
