Just ordered my dozen traps, and supplies. I'm excited for the season to get here, and learn how to protect my homeland from some of the pesky critters. Any advice is welcomed.

Ringneck Wrecker,

Welcome to trapping!

Read everything you can get your hands about trapping and also feel free to ask questions of all the great trappers on our forum, we will get you up to speed in a hurry.

Attending the Michigan Trappers Association Convention in August would also be a good way to meet fellow trappers and learn from their experience.

Have a great time on your trapline this fall!

Thank you, and I will be mostly concerned with trapping the coyotes around our farm. Honestly though any thing that is going to eat my fawns, pheasants, and ducks, I'll be glad to trap.

Where is the convention at? My mentor and I would love to attend.
