Concerning "areas to fish" do not give out any specific holes, stretches, access sites in these forums. That is MS' policy on river reporting. Send specific information via PMs.

As for what baits to use I'd suggest crickets either bottom bounced or under a "strike indicator" (bobber), minnows, crayfish, crawlers, steelhead spawn bags, or any other insect critter that is large enough to put on a hook.

I saw some poor saps melting from the heat in their neoprenes on the White last Sunday. I wouldn't even wear breathables or hip-boots, unless you've got alot of silt and muck to deal with on a certain stretch. The water feels good to me wet-wading.
This water felt a bit warm to me, so bring the fish in that you want to release quickly and try not to handle the fish too much or at all & try not to use a net.
You should have no problem finding them. Best of luck to you in catching some to grill. Talk about some tasty flesh......

You might want to take some small Rapalas, or other minnow imitating body baits. It is just a thought.
