I called the DNR before the re-draw asking how I would get my money back if I did not draw a tag the second time around. This is what I was told. My party was 4 of the 35 hunters statewide that purchased their tags before the systems was shut down. I was told they were going to allow all of those hunters to keep their tags because it was of no fault of their own and also, statewide, it's such a small number. They said the majority of those people would have been successful in drawing anyways (not sure how many). They also said if someone in a party got one that they were going to give tags to any members of their party if that was the case. They said there would be a letter to that effect going out to those hunters.

:sad:There must have been a number of hunters with 7 points that applied for Baldwin this year that didn't apply last year. Last year 114 applied with 6 points 60 got tags leaving 54 this year for 70 tags available.

Did you have 7 points entering the draw or 7 points after the draw?

If the numbers held the same there were around 235 for 70 tags <33% chance, I figured if the numbers hold true it will be 30 plus years before I get a Baldwin draw again.:mad:
