That's right. Kenny Rogers will be pitching for the West Michigan Whitecaps on Friday. The wife and I might try to go just to see him pitch again.
Thought he was pitching for the Mud Hens?

He did pitch for them. Someone where my wife works said he is pitching this Friday for the Whitecaps.

I still haven't been able to find any official confirmation of this...
But, apparently Leyland suggested in his Press Conference on Sunday that this was a possibility, and it was also in the GR paper on Monday. I bought my tickets monday afternoon, there are still some seats available if you dont mind sitting in the lawn section.

Today's Detroit Free Press mentioned that he'll be starting for the Whitecap's on Friday.

As of today, Wednesday, all tickets to the Whitecaps game Friday are sold out. And yes, Rogers is pitching.

Well, so much for that. Sold out. Guess I'll have to plan a trip to Detroit once he is back in the lineup!!
