Fished the PM Sunday October 22 from sunup (~8am) till 1pm. River was clear/slightly stained and low from what regulars have told me. Weather was in the low-mid 60's with clear sky and slight breeze.

Fishing was non-existent for me and others I spoke to. I put in at Green Cottage and waded upstream past Baldwin River. Saw a number of fish (kings), mostly nasty ones with white decaying bodies. Foul hooked a fish in the tail and broke off. I was using a chuck and duck rig with a egg sucking leech and pheasant tail nymph as a point fly. I saw some people fishing for browns roll casting with a nymph+indicator rig.

Some reports from the tackle shops indicate that a few steelhead are in, but I didn't see any. Nice day to be out of doors, though.

Fished the PM Saturday 11/11 3pm - dark and Sunday 11/12 9am - 11am. Got no fish both days. River looked very good, nice tea stain and from what I hear people saying, the level is up a little. Saw a number of small fish, not sure if they were browns or steelies.

Fished the fly water both days. Weather was in the low 40's and overcast both days. Theoretically this is perfect fishing weather. Guess the fish didn't realize that.

Focused on dark water behind gravel and holes. Used streamers, nymphs and egg patterns with lots of weight. Seems like I was the only person throwing lead, most people I saw were indicator fishing.

The fishing was great, just the catching could have been better. ;-)
